DENVER � Ryan Gomes scored 27 points, the most by a Timberwolves player this season, and Minnesota snapped a 15-game losing streak by beating the Denver Nuggets 106-100 Sunday night.

Corey Brewer and Jonny Flynn each scored 16 points in helping Minnesota rally from 17 points down in the first half and register their first win since a season-opening victory against New Jersey. It was also their first road victory of the season.
Carmelo Anthony matched a season-high with 19 points in the first quarter and finished with 32 but could not prevent Denver�s first loss to Minnesota in the last 11 meetings. The defeat ended the Nuggets� regular season home winning streak at 17 games.
