The birthday of Princess Victoria Kawekiu Lunalilo Kalaninuiahilapalapela Ka'iulani will be observed Oct. 16 at 9:30 a.m. with a lei-draping ceremony at the Princess Ka'iulani Triangle Park in Waikiki.

The ceremony is being presented by Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, Ohana Hotels and Resorts and owners the Kelley family to observe the 10th anniversary of the statue created by sculptor Jan Gordon Fisher to honor Ka'iluani, erected Oct. 16, 1999.
