Singer Jack Johnson will be promoting the release of his latest CD and documentary "En Concert" with screenings and acoustic performances Nov. 13 and Nov. 14 at the Hawaii Theatre, Fresh and Clean Media announced yesterday.

The shows will be Johnson's only live performances in 2009 and his first since the finale of his Sleep Through the Static world tour.

All proceeds from the shows, along with "En Concert" CD and DVD sales, will benefit Johnson's Kokua Hawaii Foundation as well as the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation.

Tickets go on sale Saturday and will be sold only at the Hawaii Theater Box office.

Kokua Hawaii Foundation members (with active memberships as of midnight Friday) will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 a.m. to noon, Fresh and Clean media said. Members must have a copy of their membership ID along with a valid photo ID (drivers license).

Tickets for nonmembers can be purchased from noon to 5 p.m.

Tickets are limited to two per person because of the anticipated high demand, Fresh and Clean Media said.

Tickets are $125 orchestra, $100 loge, $75 for lower balcony, $50 for upper balcony.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. each day with "En Concert," the film, starting at 8 p.m. followed by a full acoustic set by Johnson and Zach Gill.

"En Concert" chronicles Johnson's 2008 Sleep Through the Static tour. It was directed by Emmett Malloy, whom Johnson collaborated with to create the surf films "Thicker Than Water" and "September Sessions."

"En Concert" follows Johnson through the European leg of his tour, capturing behind-the-scenes adventures and on-stage performances.
