The Navy will test its “Giant Voice” mass notification system tomorrow at 1 p.m. near Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific in Wahiawa.
People in the area will hear the words “test, test, test” followed by a warning tone and then the words “test, test, test.”
The warning system provides base-wide siren signals and pre-recorded and live voice messages for emergency situations.
Routine tests are held periodically.
