Police yesterday arrested a 13-year-old boy as a suspect in connection with a reported robbery last week at Waipahu Intermediate School.
Four boys, three of whom are 12 and one who is 13, told police they were approached by a group of five other boys about 7:25 a.m. on Aug. 27. They said that one of the boys in the group of five demanded money from them while the remaining members in the group of five stood by.
The boy who demanded the money searched each of the four victims, but took money from only one of them, police were told.
School officials found the suspect at the school yesterday and he was identified by the victims, police said.
They arrested the boy on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
