HIFF founder to be honored at Korean film fest

Jeannette Paulson Hereniko, the founder of the Hawaii International Film Festival and a leader in the development, promotion and distribution of Asian and Pacific films, is one of two recipients of the 2009 Korean Cinema Award.
Hereniko will be honored at the 14th Pusan International Film Festival in early October for her dedication in introducing Korean cinema to the United States.
