‘Pipeline’s Got Talent’ competition starts tonight

“Pipeline’s Got Talent,” the local spinoff of the hit reality TV show “America’s Got Talent,” starts a 4-week run tonight at Pipeline Cafe.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the competition starts at 7 p.m. There is no cover charge to watch, but VIP tickets will be $10.
The competition runs every Tuesday in September, with the finals held Sept. 29.
Some of the acts already signed up to perform are a tap dancer, singers, comedians, a juggler and ukulele players.

The winning act, if over the age of 21, earns a vacation package to Las Vegas and a chance to open for a future act at Pipeline Cafe. If under the age of 21, the grand prize is a year’s worth of Papa John’s pizza and a chance to open for a Pipeline act.
