Car crash injures 4 men on Kauai; 2 in critical condition
Two men were critically injured in a three-car crash yesterday afternoon in Koloa.
The accident was reported about 4:40 p.m. on Kaumuali'i Highway near the Maluhia Road junction, an area known as the "Tree Tunnel."
Two 23-year-old Kalaheo men were critically injured and were flown to The Queen's Medical Center on O'ahu for treatment.
A 20-year-old Kalaheo man and a 60-year-old Kapa'a man were treated at Wilcox Hospital and later released.
Kaua'i police diverted traffic in the area for more than two hours while they investigated the incident.
