A California museum has named Henry J. Kaiser one of that states most influential people, inducting the industrialist who also left a major mark on Hawaiçis history into a 4-year-old Hall of Fame.

As part of the recognition, artifacts and mementos from the inductees will be featured in a new exhibit in the museum, which was established in 1998 in Sacramento to showcase pieces of Californias history.
Kaiser, who was semi-retired when he arrived in Hawaiçi in 1954 at age 72, master-planned and developed Hawaiçi Kai and a Waikïkï resort on the site of what is now Hilton Hawaiian Village.
