Chef Glenn Chu to lead Slow Food Chinatown fish market tour
Glenn Chu, chef-owner of Indigo restaurant, will lead a tour of Chinatown fish markets 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 10 followed by a demonstration of how to work with the fish and a luncheon at his restaurant.
"Focusing on Fish and Sashimi" is a presentation of Slow Food Honolulu but non-members may attend. The day's events will convene at Indigo, 1121 Nuçuanu, followed by a walk-through of Chinatown seafood markets, a cooking demonstration and a lunch.
Tickets are $60 for members, $65 non-members. The event is limited to 15 people and deadline for registration is Oct. 4 with payment by Oct. 7. To register, e-mail Michelle at phillipslayden@gmail.com.
