A man was seriously injured in a stabbing last night at the Mayor Wright Homes public housing project.

The victim, who appeared to be in his late teens, suffered at least one stab wound at about 7:20 p.m. He was treated and stabilized by paramedics and taken to the hospital in serious condition, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department.

Police were investigating the incident.
