CFB: 2 Marshall football players arrested

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Two Marshall University football players are facing criminal charges.
Marshall football coach Doc Holliday says in a statement that Huntington police arrested DeQuan Bembry and T. J. Drakeford early Sunday morning.
Details weren't immediately available.
Both players were being held Sunday at the Western Regional Jail.
Bembry also is known as DeQuan Starling. An officer at the jail says he is charged with felony malicious assault on an officer and misdemeanor public intoxication.
Drakeford is charged with obstructing and battery on an officer. Both charges are misdemeanors.
Both players have requested court-appointed attorneys.
Holliday says he will take appropriate disciplinary action once he has all the facts.
