Colt Brennan yields No. 5 jersey to new Redskins quarterback McNabb

Newly acquired Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb will wear Colt Brennan's No. 5, McNabb's jersey number with the Philadelphia Eagles and Syracuse University.
Profootballtalk.nbcspports.com reported that McNabb, who was traded to the rival Washington Redskins yesterday, will wear No. 5 with Brennan, the former University of Hawaii star, reportedly agreeing to give it up.
Brennan will wear No. 15, his number while at UH.
Profootballtalk.nbcspports.com reported that it did not know if McNabb offered anything to Brennan for his jersey number, which is a common practice in the pro ranks.
