High schoolers to compete in economics challenge April 14
An annual contest in which high school students test their knowledge of economics is scheduled for April 14 at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
The 2010 Island Insurance Companies Economics Challenge will feature more than 220 students competing in two divisions. The vent organized and hosted by the Hawai'i Council on Economic Education will begin at 8 a.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom and includes prizes and a chance to compete in the Western regional finals.
