CLEVELAND — Toronto forward Chris Bosh will miss the Raptors' game against Boston with broken facial bones.
The team said Bosh remained in Cleveland on Wednesday after being hospitalized overnight. The Raptors are expected to provide an update on the All-Star later in the day.
Toronto's leading scorer sustained a "maxilla and nasal fracture to the right side of his face" when he was accidentally struck by Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison's elbow in the opening minutes of Tuesday night's 113-101 loss to Cleveland.
Bosh had a CT scan that revealed the fractures.
The Raptors enter Wednesday night's home contest against the Celtics with a one-game lead over Chicago for the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
