Jaris Popaca-Falefa tossed a two-hitter and No. 2- ranked Saint Louis scored 12 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to beat Maryknoll, 15-1, yesterday in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball game at CORP.
The game was shortened to five innings due to the mercy rule.
The Crusaders, the ILH first-round champions, improved to 10-1 overall and 3-0 in the second round. The Spartans fell to 1-9 and 0-2.
Derek Nakasato, Travis Shaw, Kini Enos and Jordan Khalekai each had two hits lead the Crusaders.
