CAMP
Hawai'i Baptist Academy will hold its 16th Annual Eagle Hoop Camp June 8-11 at the HBA gym. Lead clinicians will be former UH-Hilo and Adidas ABC coach Jimmy Yagi and former UH-Hilo all-star guard and Hawaii Tribune-Herald sports editor Bill O'Rear. The camp is open to all boys and girls entering grades 4-12 this fall. It will be divided into two age groups. Daily sessions will be 8:30-11:30 a.m. for grades 4-8 and 12:30-3:30 p.m. for grades 9-12. Camp fee is $75 if registered by April 24 and includes a camp T-shirt. Mid-Pacific Institute is looking for a varsity head coach for girls volleyball. The head coach will oversee and develop the entire girls volleyball program, including the junior varsity and intermediate levels. Candidates must have prior high school and/or college coaching experience and good communication skills. Volleyball coaching certification is preferred.
