University of Hawai'i golfer Erika Lundberg is atop the leaderboard after the first round of the Western Athletic Conference Women's Championships in Mesa, Ariz.
The sophomore from Sweden shot 1-over-par 72 today at the Longbow Golf Club for a one-stroke lead over Amanda Jacobs of Idaho.
Hawai'i's Ka'ili Britos and Brigitte Baker are tied for ninth place with 77s. Corie Hou and Brittany Bomar shots 79s.
The Rainbow Wahine are in second place (21-over 305), one stroke behind San Jose State in the three-round tournament.
