Science Cafe on Protecting the Pacific from Pandemic Panic tonight at P.F. Chang's Ward

The Hawaii Academy of Science invites the public to their monthly Science Cafe tonight to hear about "Protecting the Pacific from Pandemic Panic" with guest speaker Dr. James Campbell from the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies.
Dr. Campbell will discuss the challenges of national and regional security under infectious disease threats such as SARS, HIV and pandemic influenza in the Asia-Pacific region.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a no-host social dinner hour followed by the talk at 7 p.m. at P.F. Chang's Ward (at the Diamond Head end of Auahi Street.
