Tickets are still available for tomorrow night's "A Concert in the Ko'olaus with Jon Nakamatsu," a benefit for the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii.

Named debut artist of the year by NPR's "Performance Today," classical pianist Nakamatsu has been profiled by CBS' "Sunday Morning," Reader's Digest and is featured in "Playing with Fire," a documentary about the Tenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

Nakamatsu's CD of the Brahms "Clarinet Sonatas" with clarinetist Jon Manasse was selected by the New York Times as one of its top classical recordings for 2008. 

An autograph session will follow the concert.

Hawaii New Now business reporter Howard Dicus will be master of ceremonies.

Tickets cost $50 for adults ($25 tax deductible); $40 for JCCH adult members ($15 tax deductible); $25 for 18 and under nonmembers and $15 for 18 and members.

Registration/no-host cocktail/pupus start at 5 p.m.; concert follows at 6 p.m. at the Ko'olau Ballrooms at the Ko'olau Golf Club.
