Get in line again for yet another Korean film release: the Hawai'i debut of "Secret Reunion" ("Ui Hyung Jae") at Consolidated Ward Theatres on April 30.

This new film has had much success at the box office in South Korea — and, like "Good Morning President," "Harmony" and "Haeundae," is being distributed by CJ CGV America.

Directed by Chang Hoon, it stars Song Kang-ho and Kang Dong-won, and has English subtitles.

Humorous veteran actor Song Kang-ho visited HIFF in fall 2002 for the opening-night film "YMCA Baseball Team." His extensive film resume includes "Thirst," "The Good, The Bad and The Weird," "Secret Sunshine," and many more.

Here, Song plays dismissed national agent Lee Han-kyu.

After mishandling an important operation that resulted in the death of a colleague, Lee runs a small private-detective agency that looks for runaway wives, and also doubles as a bounty hunter. It's a dirty job but he knows someone has to do it.

While pursuing a crime ring boss, he encounters North Korean spy-in-hiding Ji-won (Kang) and persuades Ji-won to work with him, to keep the spy close while waiting for his chance to bring down the spy network and reclaim his reputation.

Kang has been in many films, too, including "Voice of a Murderer," "Romance of Their Own" and "Too Beautiful to Lie." Kang has a notable role in "Duelist" with Ha Ji-won. (This was a HIFF opening-night film in 2006, with Ha Ji-won in attendance.)

Episodes 1 and 2

Tonight, 7:30-9 p.m.: Kang Man-ho, a struggling stuntman, suddenly finds out he has a son. He raises his son with the help of his aging father and his new wife. The happy family faces a difficult decision when the boy's mother, now a successful violinist, returns from the States to take her son back.

Tomorrow at 7:45 p.m.: Years pass and Jae-il comes back from the States. However, it's not the successful return Man-ho had anticipated. The father and son face the consequences of Jae-il's mistake in the States.

'Loving you a thousand times'

Episodes 43 and 44

Sunday at 6:45 p.m.: After Gang-ho finds out that Eun-nim was a surrogate for his brother, he goes on a drinking binge. Eun-nim leaves and tries to kill herself. She is saved by a nun. Hyang-sook is looking for a way to try to keep Gang-ho quiet. Grandmother and Se-hoon keep asking Sun-young to find Eun-nim and talk to her.

Sunday at 7:45 p.m.: Gang-ho finds out that Hyang-sook is not his birth mother. He looks for his real mother, only to find out that she died six months ago. Meanwhile, Eun-nim settles down to life at the orphanage. Her father finds out that she's missing and worries about where she is. Hyang-sook and Sun-young have to keep lying about Eun-nim's whereabouts.

'Oh! My Lady'

Episodes 1 and 2

Monday at 7:45 p.m.: Sung Min-woo is a top star with good looks and a hot body, but lacks acting skill. While adored by millions of fans, he is self-conscious about his acting and worries about his future. Yoon Gae-hwa is a struggling single mom who tries to make a living with her daughter after spending all her alimony on her mother's hospital bills.

Tuesday at 7:45 p.m.: Gae-hwa is promised a job with The Show Company if she casts Sung Min-woo in the musical. Ready to tackle any and every obstacle to get a stable job, she goes back to Sung Min-woo's apartment with a proposal to change his career.

'Ob/GYN doctors'

Episodes 11 and 12

Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.: Dr. Lee starts to feel jealous when he sees Dr. Suh comforting Dr. Wang. Then he hears from Dr. Ahn that they have been friends for 30 years and that Suh takes care of Wang like a mother. Suh asks Wang for help with her thesis but Wang refuses to help because he is already stressed out with his own thesis. Suh then suggests playing go-stop to help him relax; they call Lee and Ahn over to play with them.

Thursday at 7:45 p.m.: Dr. Wang confesses his feelings to Dr. Suh. He asks if there is any possibility of them becoming more than friends. Suh is confused by his confession. Sooah, Nurse Kim's old classmate from high school, comes to the hospital pregnant but Kim asks the chief nurse if someone else can take care of her instead.
