Koganji Temple welcomes the community to its annual Children's Blessing & Festival, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. May 15 at 2869 Oahu Avenue in Manoa Valley. Bishop Rose, founder of Koganji Temple, will conduct the blessing at 9:30 a.m. All families are welcome.

The event celebrates children with taiko performances and hands-on taiko sessions, face and nail painting, a book and toy sale, and more. Food booths will offer Koganji Temple's signature fresh andagi and kimono dogs, yakisoba, shaved ice, baked goods, and the temple's specialty komochi, jams, cakes, snacks, cookies and more.
