Local real estate management company Hawaiian Properties Ltd. will become the property manager representing individual condominium unit owners at the Ilikai in Waikiki effective Saturday.

The company is assuming the role from Hawaii First Inc., and will also manage commercial units in the roughly 1,000-unit tower with mixed hotel and condo use.

An affiliate of Aqua Resorts & Hotels continues to manage 203 hotel rooms owned by lender iStar Financial.
