Saint Louis beats Mid-Pacific to win ILH baseball title

Saint Louis defeated host Mid-Pacific, 6-2, today to win the Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball championship.
Saint Louis won the first round ILH title with Mid-Pacific finishing second.
In the second round, both Saint Louis and MPI finished with the same win-loss record, forcing today's playoff for the second-round title.
Both Saint Louis and Mid-Pacific have qualified for the state baseball tournament, set for May 5-8, on Maui.
Punahou defeated Kamehameha today for the third ILH state tournament berth.
