Holy Nativity School in Aina Haina held its 61st Lei Day pageant today, with all 163 students taking part.

The hour-long program featured Hawaiian songs and dances, followed by the entrance of the Royal Court.

Princesses representing each island wore holoku in the island's color, and student escorts carried floral kahili.

The event ended with a hula from sixth-grader Destiny Cabrera, the pageant's queen.

The program was conducted by Kimo Todd, the school's music and Hawaiiana specialist, as well as teachers and staff.

Parents and halau Hulu Hui Kapuna Hala helped with costumes and lei-making.
