Palikü Theatre’s two-week production of “The Velveteen Rabbit” begins today at Windward Community College.

Based on the book by Margery Williams, the musical tells a tale of love and sacrifice through the story of a small stuffed rabbit that is given as a gift to a little boy.
Ron Bright directs the ensemble cast of WCC students. Performances are at 2 and 7:30 p.m. today and Feb. 13 and 2 p.m. tomorrow and Feb. 14.
