Clipper an All-Star
Associated Press
Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman will replace Portland's Brandon Roy in this weekend's All-Star game.
Roy injured his right hamstring last month. Roy, in his fourth season with the Blazers, made the All-Star team as a reserve for the third straight season.
Kaman will be making his first All-Star appearance. He is averaging a career-high 20.2 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field.
He's the first Clippers player to be chosen to the All-Star game since Elton Brand in 2006.
Clippers guard Eric Gordon will participate in the Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam, and compete in the first All-Star Slam Dunk-In against Toronto's DeMar DeRozan at halftime of that game.
CAVALIERS
WEST COULD RETURN FROM INJURY TODAY
Cleveland, riding an 11-game winning streak, could get guard Delonte West back in the lineup today against New Jersey.
He missed the last eight games with a broken left ring finger, leaving the Cavs without their top two point guards.
Starting point guard Mo Williams is out with a shoulder injury, and is scheduled to return sometime in early March.
West has been fitted for a splint on his hand, but it hasn't affected his shot during practice.
Cleveland has turned to Daniel Gibson and Jawad Williams to fill in for West and Mo Williams the past few weeks.

Re-scheduled game: The snowed-out game between the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards has been rescheduled for March 11. The game was supposed to be played Saturday but was postponed because of a blizzard that dumped 2 feet of snow on the nation's capital. Both teams played in other cities Friday night, and the storm prevented them from traveling to the area.
Pacers: Indiana center Jeff Foster will miss the rest of the season with a back injury. Foster will have surgery after the All-Star break. The 6-foot-11 Foster has played in 16 games this season.
