A palm frond basket-weaving program is set for 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the University of Hawaii’s Lyon Arboretum, 3860 Manoa Road.

Participants will learn weaving techniques to make a beautiful and functional fish basket, market basket or sun visor from niu (coconut palm) fronds. Registration required; cost: $20
