Kahala 8 and Consolidated Theatres are banking on Oscar-nominated films to bring movie audiences in this weekend.

In addition to bringing back films like "The Hurt Locker," "Crazy Heart" and other nominees that didn't get a wide audience the first time around, Kahala 8 will be showing the Live Action: 2010 Oscar-nominated shorts (92 minutes) and the Animated: 2010 Oscar-nominated shorts (68 minutes).

Both viewings open today at Kahala 8 and are unrated:
