Bamboo Ridge author Michelle Cruz Skinner will read from her third book of collected works, “In the Company of Strangers,” tomorrow.

Skinner, a teacher at Punahou, was born and raised in the Philippines, and one of her earlier books, “Mango Seasons,” was nominated for the 1996 Philippine Book Award.
“In the Company of Strangers” is a mix of fiction and memoir.
The reading at 3 p.m. at Native Books/Nä Mea Hawaiçi at Ward Warehouse will be followed by a reception.
