Four people were injured this evening in a traffic accident on Waialae Avenue and Kapiolani Boulevard, fire officials said.

The four injured — two people from each car — were taken to an unknown hospital for their injuries. Calls to the city Department of Emergency Services were not returned.
Fire Capt. Debbi Eleneki said three fire companies responded to the accident where one car T-boned another. EMS was already on the scene and firefighters provided manpower, Eleneki said. The accident occurred at 5:41 p.m.
