The Sheraton Hawaii Bowl will retain its Dec. 24 date for this year's game, according to people involved with the game.

Kickoff will be 3 p.m.
The game is scheduled to match the University of Hawaii, if the Warriors are bowl-eligible, as the Western Athletic Conference representative against an opponent from Conference USA.
Southern Methodist defeated Nevada in the 2009 game.
The second Diamond Head Classic basketball tournament will be wrapped around the Hawaii Bowl, running Dec. 22, 23 and 25.
ESPN Regional Television owns both events.
