A tour of WWII gunnery tunnels in Kailua near Aikahi Shopping Center will benefit the Hawaii Animal Sanctuary, with 100 percent of proceeds going to animal care.

The benefit is set for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 6 with tours on the hour; call 395-0023 for details. Volunteers are needed to assist with the tour; call 294-0205.
Besides the tour, there will be a rummage sale and attendees also can drop off donations for the shelter. Needed are dish soap, bleach, detergents, sponges and trash bags.
