A 17-year-old girl was killed and three people injured last night in a two-vehicle crash near the 88-mile marker on Queen Kaahumanu Highway, just south of the Hualalai Resort.

Hawaii County police this morning identified the girl as Angela Apostadiro of a Waikoloa address.
Police said the crash involved a 2005 Hyundai multi-purpose vehicle traveling south and a north-bound 2000 GMC van being operated as a taxi.
The driver of the Hyundai, identified as 21-year-old Joseph Edgar of Kealakekua, was arrested for negligent homicide, negligent injury, operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant and reckless driving.
The collision happened about 8 p.m.
Police said Edgar had passed a south-bound vehicle and was passing north-bound vehicles while driving in the north-bound shoulder lane when he crashed into the taxi in which Apostadiro was a front-seat passenger.
Police said Apostadiro was the daughter of the taxi driver, a 50-year-old woman.
The taxi driver and an 88-year-old woman who was a visitor from France and may have been a fare in the taxi were taken to Kona Community Hospital in serious condition. The older woman was later flown to the Queen's Medical Center on Oahu.
Apostadiro was pronounced dead at 12:05 a.m.
Police said none of the people involved were wearing seatbelts.
Firefighters said damage to both vehicles was extensive and the crash left a debris field about 150 yards long.
Police closed the highway between Kaiminani and Waikoloa roads for several hours.
Police said Apostadiro is the seventh traffic fatality on the Big Island this year, compared to five at the same time last year.
