Repairs will cut power to Haleakala visitor center on Saturday

Haleakala National Park is advising visitors of a power outage Saturday due to scheduled repairs.
The outage will last from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During that time the only operational restroom facility will be at the Headquarters Visitors Center. The visitor center at the summit will not have restroom service.
There also will be no credit card sales in the bookstore, and the main phone line will be out of service.
The park says normal operations should resume in the afternoon.
