HONOLULU — The Hawaii Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner will feature GOP strategist Karl Rove as the keynote speaker.
Those attending Friday’s dinner in the Coral Ballroom of the Hilton Hawaiian Village will also hear from Gov. Linda Lingle, Lt. Gov. James “Duke” Aiona and Honolulu City Councilman Charles Djou.
Rove has became synonymous with ruthless but effective campaign tactics. He was the mastermind of George W. Bush’s two successful presidential runs and his top political adviser in White House.
Since leaving the Bush administration in 2007, Rove has been a Fox News contributor, as well as a Wall Street Journal and Newsweek columnist.
Rove’s memoir, “Courage and Consequence,” is to be released March 9.
