4TH-GRADERS LEARN ABOUT MARINE DEBRIS

Jefferson Elementary fourth-graders spent three weeks learning about marine debris and its impact on the environment. The project culminated in a cleanup of Queen's Beach in Waikīkī on Feb. 18 and an art project using rubbish and debris collected from Windward O'ahu to create mosaics of marine animals.

TALK STORY WITH SINGER JERRY SANTOS

Award-winning singer-songwriter Jerry Santos will be featured at a free Talk Story session Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Windward Community College's Palikū Theatre.
