The guided-missile destroyer USS Russell is scheduled to leave Pearl Harbor tomorrow morning for an independent deployment to the Middle East and Western Pacific.

The Russell will conduct operations with coalition partners and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in the Middle East. The ship will participate in training exercises in the Western Pacific.
The Russell carries a crew of about 24 officers and 247 sailors.
