A portion of Hansen Road in Pu'unēnē on Maui will be closed to traffic from 8 p.m. on Thursday to 5 p.m. Sunday, Maui County announced yesterday. The county is making roadway improvements to the section of Hansen Road from Pulehu Road to South Pu'unēnē Avenue (near the A&B Sugar Museum) will be undergoing roadway improvements as part of the Hansen Road Realignment Project.

During the temporary closure period, no through traffic will be allowed. Access to the Pu'unēnē Post Office and the A&B Sugar Museum will be available via Mokulele Highway only.
