CINCINNATI — New York linebacker David Harris was active Saturday for a playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals, allowing the Jets to have their top tackler in the lineup.
Harris had been questionable with a sprained right ankle that sidelined him for two days of practice last week. He was hurt during the Jets' 37-0 win over the Bengals last Sunday.
Cornerback Donald Strickland missed that game with a thigh injury and was inactive again for the playoff.
Bengals running back Larry Johnson also was inactive, a slight surprise. Johnson practiced last week despite knee tendinitis and was listed as probable. The move left Cedric Benson and rookie Bernard Scott as the Bengals' top runners.
