Free H1N1 shots for University of Hawaii students on Thursday

University of Hawaii at Manoa students can get a free H1N1 influenza vaccine Thursday on campus from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The clinic will be held by University Health Services Manoa and students with insurance are asked to bring their health insurance cards.
The vaccine will be given on a first-come, first-served basis and any student under 18 is required to provide a parent/guardian signature of consent form, which may be picked up from the health center.�
UH said students who meet any one of the following criteria are urged to get the vaccination:

  • Younger than 25
  • Pregnant
  • Healthcare workers
  • Caretakers or family members of infants younger than 6 months
  • Students with chronic medical conditions (asthma, diabetes, heart disease)
