Gentle winds and big waves are in the forecast for the weekend.

A new swell is expected to produce very large surf along most north- and west-facing shores of the Islands tomorrow night through Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Meanwhile, high pressure north of the state will result in dry, trade-wind weather through the weekend and into the middle of next week.
