MLB: McGwire set to make St. Louis appearance

ST. LOUIS — Mark McGwire will make his first public appearance in St. Louis since being hired as the Cardinals' hitting coach.
The former slugger will attend the team's Winter Warm-Up promotional event Sunday. He will be on stage at a hotel near Busch Stadium and speak with the media.
McGwire has apologized for using steroids and human growth hormone on and off for a decade, including 1998 when he hit 70 homers to break Roger Maris' record.
