Two Honolulu-based companies have scheduled conference calls to discuss quarterly results and their business outlook.

Hoku Scientific Inc., the Hawaiçi company that has majority ownership by a China-based firm, said it will discuss results for its fiscal third quarter on Jan. 27 at noon local time. The results, along with a discussion of its business outlook, can be accessed through Hoku’s www.hokucorp.com Web site.
Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc. will release its financial results for the final quarter of 2009 on Feb. 11. It also will discuss its financial performance and outlook during a Webcast on its site at www.hei.com at 3 a.m. Hawaiçi time on Feb. 12.
