Fresh off playing in his first PGA Tour event, University of Hawai�i sophomore TJ Kua was the guest today on The Honolulu Advertiser's "Warrior Beat Show."

Kua, a Kamehameha alum from Lihue, gained entry as sponsor's exemption by winning a Hawai'i amateur's qualifying spot at the Sony Open in Hawai�i.
Kua shot a 1-under 69, the low score among the six Hawai�i golfers in the first round. He missed the weekend cut after a 74 in the second round.
Kua and the UH men�s golf team begin the spring season in the Mauna Lani Invitational, Feb. 3-5 on the Big Island.
