Police ID Big Isle teen who died in crash

Big Island police have identified a 17-year-old boy from Pahoa who died Wednesday from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday as Gary A. Gonsalves Jr.
The crash occurred on Kahakai Boulevard in Hawaiian Beaches.
