NBA: Wizards hope to 'move forward' after Arenas banned

WASHINGTON — Coach Flip Saunders says the Washington Wizards have felt like they "continued to take body punches" while NBA and legal investigations into a locker room gun episode were ongoing.
Speaking after practice Thursday, Saunders said the "waiting and not knowing" was more draining than finding out Wednesday that star point guard Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton were suspended for the rest of the season.
Now Saunders hopes his last-place team can "move forward" and win more games.
Antawn Jamison and Brendan Haywood both spoke Thursday about still holding out hope of contending for a playoff spot despite being 14-30, the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference.
Jamison said he has not asked to be traded.
