A man in his 20s was taken to a trauma center in critical condition Friday night after he was hit by a car on Flagler Road at Schofield Barracks.

EMS Dept. spokesman Bryan Cheplic said the accident occurred at 8:50 p.m. Friday. The man was stabilized at a local hospital, then taken to the trauma center, he said. No further information was available.
