A 20-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed several times Friday night at a field near McKinley High School and the Blaisdell center.

Honolulu Emergency Services Department spokesman Bryan Cheplic said the call came in at 10 p.m. Friday. He said the man suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to a trauma center in serious condition.
