Singer and guitarist Willie Nelson canceled a North Carolina concert, blaming a bum hand, about an hour after several band and crew members were busted for allegedly possessing moonshine and marijuana aboard their tour bus.

A law-enforcement spokesman said yesterday that six members of Nelson's band and crew have been charged with misdemeanor possession offenses.

Nelson's daughter said on his Web site that Thursday's show in Kenansville was canceled because his hand hurt too badly to play. The right-handed guitar-picker had carpal tunnel surgery on his left hand in 2004.

VICTORIA BECKHAM TO SIT IN ON 'THE VIEW'

Victoria Beckham will guest co-host "The View."

The singer-model-businesswoman (and wife of soccer superstar David Beckham) will be a guest co-host of the talk show on Feb. 17, ABC says. She first appeared on the show last September as a guest.

In 2007, the Beckhams were featured on Barbara Walters' annual "10 Most Fascinating People" TV special.

The regular "View" co-hosts are Walters, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.

BRIEFS HEAD STYLE

Michael Douglas showed up in federal court yesterday to support a son who pleaded guilty earlier this week to dealing large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine.

The actor appeared at 31-year-old Cameron Douglas' bail hearing yesterday in a Manhattan courtroom.

The hearing was closed to the public. As he left, Michael Douglas declined to answer questions.

His son, who pleaded guilty Wednesday, was arrested in July at a trendy Manhattan hotel and has been held without bail.

BRUCE WILLIS' IDAHO SKI LODGE REOPENS

An Idaho ski resort owned by Bruce Willis has reopened, almost a year after the resort's lodge was destroyed by fire.

Soldier Mountain Ski Resort celebrated opening day Thursday. Workers had scrambled over the past four weeks to complete the lodge, in some cases using tables and kitchen equipment from The Mint, a former restaurant in nearby Hailey that is also owned by Willis.

DESIGNER PLEADS NOT GUILTY IN RAPES

Fallen fashion designer Anand Jon Alexander used drugs, threats and the lure of modeling jobs in a campaign of sexual molestation involving a dozen women, prosecutors said yesterday in a case that echoes charges that sent him to prison in California.

The one-time rising design star said only "not guilty" as he was arraigned in a Manhattan court on a raft of rape and other charges dating back to 2002.

The Manhattan case had been on hold while the California prosecution played out. Alexander, 36, was convicted in Los Angeles of sexually assaulting seven women and girls, some as young as 14, and sentenced in August to 59 years to life in prison.
